According to Google, the browser blocks the Google Analytics script after installation. You can find more information on terms of use and data protection at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de

3.6.1 Shariff

We have integrated the so-called Shariff solution on our website. The provider is GitHub, Inc. 88 Colin P. Kelly Junior Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (Shariff). Shariff helps us to ensure data protection-compliant integration of social media buttons using an HTML link on our website. By using Shariff, however, the personal data is only transferred when the plugin is actively activated by the visitor. We therefore use Shariff to protect your personal data and at the same time to use social media plugins in compliance with data protection regulations.

Further information on the function and use of Shariff is provided by the computer magazine c't at www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/Datenschutz-und-Social-Media-Der-c-t-Shariff-ist-im-Einsatz-2470103.html. 3.6.2 SSL encryption

In addition, we use SSL/TLS from Cloudflare to protect you and our website. At the same time, we use Cloudflare to protect our website from so-called DDoS attacks. For this reason, all requests are routed through Cloudflare servers and consolidated into statistics that cannot be deactivated. Here you can find information on the data collected there and on security & data protection at CloudFlare.

3.7 Our services

3.7.1 Contact form/inquiries

You have the option of sending us inquiries via the contact form on our website. Your details from the contact form (content of your request, subject of your request and date) including the contact details you provide there (name, surname, company, telephone number and email) will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the request and in the event of follow-up questions. The legal basis for the collection and processing of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.

We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

3.7.2 E-Mail-Contact

If you send us inquiries or information by e-mail, your details (e-mail address, content of your e-mail, subject of your e-mail and date/time) including the contact details you provide there (name, surname, company if applicable, position, telephone number, address) will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent. The legal basis for the collection and processing of data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.

The user is advised that emails can be read or altered during transmission without authorization or detection. PKS uses software to filter unwanted emails (spam filter). The spam filter can reject e-mails if they have been falsely identified as spam due to certain characteristics.

The data you enter will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

3.7.3 Subscription to our newsletter

On our website, you have the option of subscribing to our company newsletter. This enables us to inform our customers and business partners about company offers at regular intervals. We require a valid e-mail address from you for this purpose. Further data is not collected or is only collected on a voluntary basis. For legal reasons, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address entered by a data subject for the first time for the newsletter dispatch using the double opt-in procedure. We use this data exclusively for sending the newsletter and do not pass it on to third parties. The legal basis for the collection and processing of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.

When registering for the newsletter, we also store the IP address assigned by the Internet service provider (ISP) of the computer system used by the data subject at the time of registration, as well as the date and time of registration. The collection of this data is necessary in order to be able to trace the (possible) misuse of a data subject's e-mail address at a later date and therefore serves to protect us.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in every newsletter. Alternatively, you can also send your unsubscribe request at any time to [email protected] by email. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation. After a revocation, this personal data will be deleted. Unsubscribing from the newsletter will be interpreted as an automatic revocation.

3.7.4 Newsletter-Tracking

The newsletters contain so-called tracking pixels. A tracking pixel is a miniature graphic that is embedded in emails that are sent in HTML format to enable log file recording and log file analysis. This allows a statistical evaluation of the success or failure of online marketing campaigns to be carried out. Based on the embedded tracking pixel, we can recognize whether and when an e-mail was opened by a data subject and which links in the e-mail were accessed by the data subject.

Such personal data collected via the tracking pixels contained in the newsletters are stored and evaluated by us on the basis of legitimate interests in order to optimize the newsletter dispatch and to adapt the content of future newsletters even better to your interests. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

The legal basis for the collection and processing of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.

The data you enter in the online form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after the information material has been sent). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

3.7.6 Event registration

You have the option of registering for events on our website. Your details from the registration form (e.g. type of event), including the contact details you provide there (e.g. first name, surname, last name, zip code, street and house number, city and email, company, position) will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the event registration and in case of queries. The legal basis for the collection and processing of data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.

The data entered by you as part of the event registration will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after the end of the event). 4. Data transmission

4.1 Internal data transfer

We transfer your data internally to the administration and HR department in order to fulfill our contractual or legal obligations. Your data will only be transferred or disclosed to the extent necessary for this purpose in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations.

4.2 Transmission to other recipients

We would like to inform you that the provision of personal data is partly required by law (e.g. tax regulations) or may also result from contractual regulations (e.g. information on the contractual partner). Sometimes it may be necessary for a contract to be concluded for a data subject to provide us with personal data that must subsequently be processed by us. For example, the data subject is obliged to provide us with personal data if our company concludes a contract with them. Failure to provide the personal data would mean that the contract with the data subject could not be concluded.

If the processing of your data takes place outside the EEA, this transfer takes place in compliance with all applicable data protection laws and in particular in accordance with Art. 44 f. GDPR.

4.3 Transfer to a third country

Data is not transferred to a third country.

4.4 Transmission to an international organization

Data is not transferred to an international organization.

5. Existence of automated decision-making including profiling

As a responsible company, we do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

6. Storage period

We generally store your data for as long as this is necessary to provide our services or if this has been provided for by the European legislator or another legislator in laws or regulations to which the controller is subject. In all other cases, we delete your personal data after the purpose has been fulfilled, with the exception of data that we must continue to store in order to fulfill legal obligations (e.g. we are obliged to retain documents such as contracts and invoices for a certain period of time due to retention periods under tax and commercial law).

7. Technical safety

PKS uses technical and organizational security measures to protect your data managed by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the inquiries you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. As a rule, this is 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties. We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

8. Legal basis of the processing

Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing operations for which we have obtained consent for a specific processing purpose. If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party, as is the case, for example, with processing operations necessary for the supply of goods or the provision of any other service or consideration, the processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR. The same applies to such processing operations that are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures, for example in cases of inquiries about our products or services.

If we are subject to a legal obligation which requires the processing of personal data, such as for the fulfillment of tax obligations, the processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c) GDPR. If the processing of personal data is necessary in order to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person, the processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d) GDPR. Finally, processing operations may be based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Processing operations are based on this legal basis if the processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

9. Note minors

This online service is not intended for minors under the age of 16. Persons who have not yet reached the age of 16 may not transmit any personal data to PKS without the consent of their legal guardians.

10. Rights of the data subjects

In accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, you have the right to request confirmation as to whether we are processing data concerning you. You can request information about this data as well as the further information listed in Art. 15 para. 1 GDPR and a copy of your data. In accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, you have the right to request the correction or completion of the data concerning you and processed by us. In accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, you have the right to demand the immediate erasure of data concerning you. Alternatively, you can request that we restrict the processing of your data in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR. In accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to request the provision of the data you have provided to us and to request that it be transferred to another controller. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for you in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR.

11. Revocation of your consent to data processing

Some data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You have the option of revoking any consent you have already given at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal email to [email protected]. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

12. External links

On our website you will find links to the websites of other providers. We would like to point out that we have no influence on the content of the linked websites and the compliance with data protection regulations by their providers.

13. Changes to our privacy policy

We reserve the right to adapt this data protection notice at any time in the event of changes to our website and in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations so that it complies with the legal requirements.

14. Customer satisfaction survey

We process data as part of a customer satisfaction survey in order to ascertain the satisfaction of our customers with regard to the services we provide. This serves in particular to continuously improve our services.

Data is only collected as part of this survey after you have given your express consent. The legal basis for the processing is in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 lit. a) GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent within the meaning of the TTDSG relates to the setting of cookies or access to information on your terminal device.

We use the "Dynamics 365 Customer Voice" service (operated by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA). Dynamics 365 Customer Voice is a feedback management application that allows us to easily track our customer metrics. For example, it allows us to quickly capture feedback across multiple channels and create personalized surveys. The insights gained can then be collated and evaluated using the service. The personal data collected with Dynamics 365 Customer Voice is only processed within the European Union and you can view Microsoft's privacy policy here: https://privacy.microsoft.com/de-de/privacystatement

A transfer of the personal data provided by you to a third country or an international organization does not take place and is not planned.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the point of withdrawal remains unaffected.

Your personal data, which you provide to us via the customer satisfaction survey, will be stored by us for the duration of the collection and evaluation and then deleted in accordance with data protection regulations.
